Levis got a workout, not a lifeline.

After Tennessee waived him Aug. 30, Levis worked out for the Jets on Sept. 3, but no signing was announced. That creates a possible practice-squad or emergency-backup landing spot, not evidence of a QB2 job; Jets fans and reporters remain split on whether the visit was exploratory. He has 1,149 career offensive snaps and a market that has collapsed from his early peak, so one workout cannot restore the lost starter equity. In a deep Superflex league he is a cheap lottery ticket, but a manager should not spend more than a waiver-level asset until a team gives him a roster and a path to throw.
