Rice is back, but not fully back.

Rice has been cleared for camp and spoke publicly on August 2, but Chiefs practice notes still say he has not worked team drills while he manages the knee procedure and recent off-field absence. His 2025 return produced eight games with 51-plus yards in five, including 141- and 92-yard outings, so the role remains high-upside if the ramp-up continues. The immediate risk is availability and conditioning, not offensive fit. He is priced around Zay Flowers, A.J. Brown and Tee Higgins; a clean full-practice week would strengthen the case to acquire him, but any new limitation should push managers to sell into the remaining optimism.
