Coleman caught two passes for 32 yards in a game where Miami totaled only 111 yards, more than every other Dolphins receiver combined; the starters were largely rested, so this is not proof of a featured target share. He also scored twice in an Aug. 18 practice, showing the flashes that have pushed qualified managers to add him aggressively. Miami’s thin receiver depth gives the fifth-round rookie a quicker route to snaps than his draft capital suggests, but quarterback quality and low team volume cap the near-term ceiling; buy as a cheap stash, not as a breakout certainty, until first-team routes appear.
