Davis made the Jets, but not the backfield.

New York retained Davis in a four-back room led by Breece Hall and including Braelon Allen and Kene Nwangwu. That validates his NFL depth role, not a breakout path: Davis has only 395 career offensive snaps, and his recent manager activity is mixed after several late-August departures. His efficiency on limited work keeps a contingent-value angle alive if injuries strike, but the market already sits near other deep RB stashes. Keep him cheaply in deeper leagues; do not trade meaningful assets for a committee role without a backfield injury.
