Stribling’s rookie runway just got shortened.

Stribling underwent ankle surgery and is expected to miss about 10 weeks, a major downgrade from the earlier hope that he might return after the minimum four-game IR stint. San Francisco needed him after Ricky Pearsall’s season-ending knee surgery, so Demarcus Robinson, Jacob Cowing and other depth receivers now get the early routes. The team still believes he can return this season, but a late-November return leaves little runway for a rookie to regain a starting role. Dynasty managers should hold in deep leagues, but his current cost only makes sense if the roster can wait through rehab and the 2027 reset.
