The best dynasty managers don't just react to news — they act on value shifts before anyone in their league notices. But tracking KTC values for every player on your roster every day? Nobody has time for that.
So we built it into the app. Dynasty Dealmaker now monitors your roster's KTC values automatically and sends you a native push notification the moment something significant moves. No more refreshing KeepTradeCut. No more missing the window.
How It Works
We scan every evening
At 7 PM CT every day, we compare the latest KTC superflex values against values from 7 days ago for every relevant player in the system.
We check your roster
We cross-reference any players that moved more than 5% against the rosters of every Dynasty Dealmaker user. If you own a player that moved, you're in the alert pool.
We send a push notification
You get a native notification on your phone with the player name, the direction of the move, and the exact values. "Jahmyr Gibbs value down 8.3% — 5,200 → 4,784 on KTC this week."
We don't spam you
Each player can only trigger one alert per user per 7 days. If Gibbs dropped 8% this week and you were notified, you won't hear about him again until next week even if he keeps sliding.
Rises and Falls
We don't just alert you when a player drops. Value alerts fire in both directions:
Value Drops
A player on your roster lost more than 5% of their KTC value in the past week. This could mean:
- Injury news you haven't seen yet
- Depth chart changes or new competition
- Community sentiment shift — sell before it gets worse
Value Rises
A player on your roster gained more than 5% in KTC value. This could mean:
- Breakout buzz or hype cycle peaking
- The sell-high window you've been waiting for
- Confirmation your buy-low worked — hold or flip
Setup Takes 10 Seconds
Value alerts use native push notifications through our PWA (progressive web app). Here's all you need to do:
- 1Install the app — if you haven't already, open Dynasty Dealmaker in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android) and add it to your home screen.
- 2Go to your Profile page — scroll down to the Push Notifications section.
- 3Check the box — your browser will ask to allow notifications. Tap Allow.
- 4Send a test — tap the “Send Test” button to confirm everything is working.
iOS note: Push notifications require iOS 16.4 or later, and the app must be installed to your home screen. Safari alone won't work — you need the PWA. The toggle will walk you through it if you haven't installed yet.
Smart Filtering, Not Noise
We built this to be genuinely useful, not annoying. Here's how we keep alerts meaningful:
- 5% threshold: Small fluctuations are noise. You only hear about moves that actually matter.
- 7-day cooldown per player: Once you're alerted about a player, that player is silenced for a full week. No repeated pings for the same slide.
- Minimum value floor: We filter out low-value players (under 1,000 KTC). Your WR6 dropping from 300 to 280 isn't actionable.
- One notification per scan: If multiple players move, we batch them into a single notification: "3 of your players moved >5% — Gibbs ↓ 8.3%, Robinson ↑ 6.1%, Hall ↓ 5.4%."
Why Timing Matters in Dynasty
Dynasty is a market. And in markets, the person with the best information wins. When a player drops 8% on KTC, that information is already priced in by the community — but most league managers don't check KTC daily. The ones who do have a built-in edge.
Value alerts give you that edge passively. You don't have to check. You don't have to remember. You just get a ping on your phone while you're eating dinner and think: “Huh, Gibbs dropped 8%. I wonder if my leaguemate who's rebuilding would take a deal now.”
That single moment of awareness is worth more than hours of manual research. It's the kind of small advantage that compounds over a season.
Also New: Agent Push Notifications
Value alerts aren't the only thing using push notifications. If you have the automated agent enabled, you'll also get push notifications whenever it finds a high-priority suggestion for your team — a trade opportunity, a waiver add, or a developing situation you should know about.
Both systems use the same push toggle on your profile page. Enable it once and you're covered for everything.
